Affection Follows Attention

In this audio-only episode, we consider how our attention is our most basic form of treasure. Any other wealth that comes to us is the product of attention spent by someone, somewhere. When Jesus says that our hearts will be where our treasure is, then perhaps the way to shift our hearts when we loathe what we must do, has something to do with giving the displeasing situation some more attention. We might even grow to love something we once didn’t.
